Lexus RC F on Vossen VFS-2

If we’ve demonstrated anything here at Vossen as of late, it’s our love for Lexus, particularly their new RC F. So when our guy, KJ (@kdot_vossen) went out and picked one up, and of course lowered it almost immediately, and significantly, we couldn’t help but outfit it with some wheels while his Vossen Forged: Precision Series wheels were being manufactured. KJ’s Lexus RC F on Vossen VFS-2 wheels is nothing short of remarkable, though, rain or shine.

And if there’s anything I’ve learned about being a photographer in Miami, it’s that you have learn to shoot, rain or shine. So when we snuck away one afternoon to catch a few clicks of KJ’s Lexus RC F on Vossen VFS-2’s, it was no surprise that we encountered a little of both, all within a matter of an hour.

While the rain does tend to be quite the pain when it comes to these types of things, it did show me something quite amazing: Ultrasonic Blue Mica. I’ve never seen a paint color glow quite like this did and does in the rain. Mated with the Circuit Red Leather interior and Satin Bronze VFS-2 wheels, the Ultrasonic Blue Mica was a delight to work with behind the camera and just screamed JDM motorsports.

The stunning combination of Ultrasonic Blue Mica and Circuit Red is care of the brains of the ladies and gents behind Lexus, but adding in the Satin Bronze Vossen VFS-2 wheels to the palette at play is the icing on the cake.

Wrapped in Pirelli tires (@pirellitirenorthamerica), the Satin Bronze Vossen VFS-2 wheels measure 20×9.5 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear, accompanied by 245-30-20 and 275-30-20 tires. Sport-I coilovers, care of our friends at RSR USA (@rsrusa) bring KJ’s RC F closer to the ground, completing the ensemble you see here. While this is just the first of many stages of KJ’s car, it still takes our breath away and it’s an understatement to say that we can’t wait to see what’s next!
