ESSEN MOTOR SHOW 2017

Posted on December 9, 2016 by

The aftermarket automotive industry has a certain trio of trade shows every winter, beginning with the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where we hosted the Engineered Art Gallery this year. Meanwhile, our overseas counterparts at Vossen Europe (@vossen_europe) are busy still preparing for Europe’s trade show, Essen Motor Show.

With many new products in development it was up to Jan David Baier (@jdb_vossen) to lay them out and oversee the booth production for Essen. Split into quadrants, the Vossen Europe booth consists of the Novitec Tesla Model X, fitted with the Vossen Forged NV2 wheel, made exclusively for Tesla models.

Adjacent to the Model X resided a new Porsche 991.2 Turbo S, care of our friends at Ring Police (@ringpolice), fitted with the all-new Vossen Forged S17-01 wheel in center lock configuration.

Across the red carpet, and familiar to some that visited Vossen Europe at Essen Motor Show in 2016, was the all-new Audi RS5, gloss black body on satin black Hybrid Forged VFS-1 wheels, measuring 21×10.5 front and rear.

Last, but surely not least, is my personal favorite for Vossen Europe at Essen Motor Show 2017—Tobias Fink’s (@finktobias) 1969 Audi 100 on Vossen Forged ERA-1 three-piece wheels, configured with a super flat profile and in four-lug for the classic german coupe.

Throughout the rest of the event we found a wide array of other Vossen-equipped cars, such as Custom Kingz (@customkingz_performance) and their American muscle cars parked across the hallway.

With the event coming to a close now, after a lengthy ten days of exhibition, we’d like to thank our friends and partners at Vossen Europe (@vossen_europe) and everyone that stopped by our booth throughout the show. Many of our partners in the industry had cars on display with Vossen wheels, as shown in the gallery below, and we thank you all for the help and support!
